new video. real old and cheesey. its a song "my girl" by The Temptations. was made in 1965, way before i was borned. heard the song on tv just now for some condo ads and guessed the title and tried to find it on youtube. not bad, actually found it. watch it if you're interested.
was too lazy to turn on my comp for the past few days. so i'm gonna summarise some stuffs from those days. firstly, i got a job to do surveys. not bad, quite slack actually. secondly, i'm improving in archery. at least i'm hitting the target board now. thirdly, i bought a cross stitch kit to make a handphone pouch for zq b'dae (zq...can you actually imagine me sewing???). thought i should make her something instead of buying cause more sincere and interesting this way^^ lastly, i finally got to watch underworld evo all thx to cineleisure. love that place now. only cinema which doesn't check my student pass. the show was ok, not as interesting as i thought it would be though.
started archery today. woohoo!! quite fun. but what's wrong with my instructor??? he talks to me like he is talking to ants like that. talk so softly. should i say he is soft-spoken or pretending to be-_-" some points to remember when shooting: 1. feet are shoulder-length apart 2. right fingers do not touch the arrow 3. left arm must be bent slightly 4. proper way of gripping the bow 5. shoulders must be straight and facing the front
there are alot more pointers. but can't think of them right now, lol. now i'm into archery and guitar. but i need to find a guitar instructor first.
lol, a little too late for a new year resolution, but think i'm gonna start one anyways. this is my first ever resolution. firstly, things i have come to terms with: - i'm bored - i'm strained in some aspects - i have lost my tempo and feel for some things secondly, things i need to learn to do: - control myself (emotions, actions) - let go and live with some things - let out some frustrations - stop being bored thirdly, things i have realised about myself: - mental block towards things that are too far away - large open fields without trees and stuffs have a calming effect on me - like to be right all the time - crap alot - inconsistent energy level(extreme hyperness or super drained)
that's all i guess. not much of a resolution. more like some sort of rubbishy lists, haha. btw, don't think i can get used to being called tiffany yet. haven't actually started using that name. feels wierd
was thinking that i should get an ang moh name. haha, so that people can remember my name more easily. then fx was looking at the shirt i was wearing today. then i saw the name tiffany on my shirt. sounds nice. and then decided, tiffany shall be my name. lol, think it suits me? or anyone got another nicer name for me?
was out with fx today. wanted to try our luck to watch underworld evolution at bugis's cinema. but the auntie there insisted that we were below 18-_-" big deal, my b'dae is only a few months away. in the end went to mcdonalds to get breakfast before going to look for steph at bugis's billy bombers. haha, we talked to her for some time during her smoke break (is there such a thing?). after that, we went to M-industry. saw this mickey mouse shoes i quite like. feel like buying it, still considering. fx said he likes that shoe but wanna take a look whether suntec has nicer ones. went to kenny rogers for lunch at suntec^^ got lost at marina square (too big and confusing), and finally found marina square's billy bombers. da tou gary was at the cashier making wafersO.o lol, his head was still as big as ever. then irritating joe kok asked us to come in to take a look. saw ade and chatted with her on alot of stuff which i can't remember. they got this really cool bar with glass shelevs at the back holding bottles of wines and beer. think the nicest looking bottle was the vodka. nice. the whole shelf was lit by blue light. ade said it looks cooler at night. haha, feel like going there at night and take a look. fx kept repeating that the bar very nice. da tou then let us try the wafer he made. 1 was chou ta. haha, but still was quite nice. we chatted a little while more and then we went to walk around marina square. came across this astro boy shop O.o haha, happily walked in. cy told me bout this shop before but i forgot about it, lol. cool shop. saw this bag i like alot with astro boy's head, but it cost $85. don't think it's really worth that much. i'm still thinking bout it. went back to bugis later to try the mickey mouse shoes, but they did not have fx size. so we went back to tampines to take a look, but still tampines did not have it. in the end we walked around tampines for awhile to see whether they had similar shoes but couldn't find any. had to go home empty-handed. on the way home, mt told me bout a job^^ it's bout getting people to do surveys. those people have to be above 30, married and some other stuffs. if we can collect 10 surveys in a day, should be able to get bout 1k per month. not bad. but the thing is that we have to work 6 days per week and 6 hours per day. sounds really tiring. but if i don't like it, don't think i will continue. haha, then mt got no commission, sorry=p will be going for the training at 10am tomorrow at lido. so early, have got to wake up at 7.30. persuaded zq to go with me, yay! hopefully it will be fun tomorrow
got a new video, Sugar Sugar by the Archies. lol, cute. but what's with aladdin and jasmine?? always liked this song, but can't find one which is original. only got this one with aladdin. guess i have to make do with this. quite like aladdin anyways^^
went out with fx yesterday. wanted to catch underworld evolution, but it was M18 and the person at the ticketing booth did not let us get the ticket. just a few more months to 18 and still can't. so sian. watched big momma's house 2 in the end. quite a nice show. very lame and funny. we ate at billy bomber's before the show. had milkshake again. hooray!! nice c&c shake. went to my cousin's house late in the night. spent the night there, so did not get to blog, making up for it now. lol. on the way home from my cousin's house just now, we dropped by tampines safra. decided to take up archery. the beginner's course is $112.50 for 4 lessons for members. i signed up. the lessons will be on every saturday. but since i missed the 1st lesson which was yesterday. it will be made up on next thursday. i can't wait^^ i can drop by anytime for extra practices. hopefully fx, cy or zq will join me for extra practices. it's $8 per hour for people not taking up lessons. anyone wanna go with me?=)
went out with nic, mt ansd sheryl today. everyone was late. mt was the earliest, only 5 min late. haha, me and nic were late for about 30 min and sheryl won and was late for an hour. we went to billy bombers at hereen. nice cookies n cream milkshake. after that, we looked around at topshop. we tried out some clothes. all 3 of them looked nice in the shorts they tried. we even took a picture of the 4 of us wearing shorts in the changing room. haha. found a top which i liked alot. but there wasn't my size. the one i tried keep slipping off, too big. haiz...guess i'll try my luck at the other branches. we went to thread our eyebrows at orchard tower, beside my aunt's saloon. it was my first time doing anything to my eyebrows. hurts like crazy. owww...i think my eyebrows look kind of high now. quite wierd actually.
went to look for a job with cy and her friend chun chuan today. met cy at her house and we were late for the probation period for a job cy and her friend found yesterday. so i tagged along with them. waited for a taxi but there were none. ended sitting by the road side for almost half an hour when a taxi came and cy so excited. but the taxi was on call, haha. the guy who called the taxi offered to share the cab with us. LUCKY!! cy says the guy should be her mum's mahjong kaki's son. made a detour to upper changi to pick up chun chuan. in the end, we were still late for the job orientation or probation. turned out the company does events sales. and the event there were doing presently was raising funds for this charitable organisation called H.O.M.E. . can't remember what it stood for. was like " what rubbish, using a charity to make money. those people don't even care about the charity. all they care is about making money." the job works on a commission basis. you get 20% of what you manage to get people to "donate" that day. think it's all bullshit. all about pressuring people and winning over their sympathy to fill up your pockets. they should be ashamed of themselves. always thought that charities should work on voluntary basis. if not, why the hell is it called a charity? charity should not be a form of business transaction and definitely not about meeting sales target like what those rubbishy people there were talking about. think they should all go home and eat themselves. me and my friends told them that we don't think the job was suitable for us and that we want to quit. one of the idiots then started saying a whole load of rubbish. this was what i inferred from what he said " you guys are a bunch of ingrates!! you guys asked for a job and we gave you one. we even trusted you ( who cares??). you wasted my precious time training you on some bullshit and you tell me you all wanna leave? if you all leave now, we will blacklist you (as if you are the only comapany in the whole of S'pore=p)." that was reading between the lines of what that ass said. too bad, i don't care. lalala^^ after we left and cc bought a newspaper and we sat at BK to look through the classified. found nothing there, haha. in the end, i decided that i should go back to tampines and ask whether the place i used to work (Billy Bombers) was hiring. so i went back and filled out the application form. fx was working there at that time. don't really wanna go back bb to work. don't like some people and don't know the rest. the old gang are mostly gone. can't imagine me working at bb all over again. only people i'm happy to see there are fx, jack jack and amy jie. the rest either sucks or i don't know them. so not really looking forward to being hired. kind of miss the old staffs of bb. there were cy my ai-ai, pk mama, ade, gary da-tou, kokrong mu ji, steph xiao-ai now known as xiao p and esther-sao (always change shirt in kitchen...scary). i should know by tomorrow whether they are hiring me. if not, i think i'm gonna spend the rest of my holidays at home playing games and sleeping. so bored.
